This greenfield site provides an opportunity to accommodate a mix of innovative, sustainable and best practice.

The Ebenezer Regional Industrial Area is a proposed manufacturing hub located 15 kilometres south west of Ipswich City Centre around Ebenezer. business and industry development.
Building Queensland, in partnership with Economic Development Queensland, is leading the development of a detailed business case investigating infrastructure to support potential manufacturing opportunities including:

  • internal precinct works such as roads, earthworks, reticulated water and sewerage, and other utilities
  • road access to the precinct from the Cunningham Highway, including intersection works
  • trunk Water Main

Building Queensland expects to complete the detailed business case in the first half of 2019 before presenting it to the Queensland Government for consideration.

Toowoomba Hospital Redevelopment

The Toowoomba Hospital is operating at capacity in a number of areas and the hospital currently faces long emergency department waiting times and overcrowding. Forecast demand, driven by a growing and ageing population and high levels of chronic disease, is expected to place further pressure on the hospital.
