The Ripley Valley Priority Development Area is a large master-planned greenfield development, expected to grow from a current population of 3,764 residents to more than 100,000 beyond 2036. Ripley Valley is a significant future growth area for the South East Queensland region and for the state. Projected growth in the school-aged population is expected to exceed capacity of the four existing state schools servicing the area.

The objective of the proposal is to deliver additional state schooling capacity in this emerging, master-planned community. The proposal considers the construction of new state schooling capacity to address forecasted growth in the school-aged population.
